Brother Jack J. Drews

Jack was baptized by Jer, this past Saturday at our church here in Ramona.

We are so proud of him. He is a GREAT kid with the best personality ever.

Since we live so far away (in the beautiful sunshine) I thought I would share the day with you.

I think this is the only family picture that we have of us since we had Ty.
So, I thought I would post it. Even though it is blurry and I look like S#*!.
Oh well, the boys are looking good.

The birthday's are finally over!

After celebrating 3 kids birthdays in one month we are more than

happy to move out of birthday season!!

The boys had a great time. They toilet papered the neighbors house,

watched cars drive over duct tape, (it makes it sound like they have a flat tire), ignored the cute neighborhood girls that came over to hang out, played truth or dare, (christian had to pee his pants and jump in the pool) and stayed up all night long. It also made me and Jer feel really old.

Weren't we 13 like 2 years ago?

Our sweet little baby Ty turned 1!

It seems like yesterday that this cute little guy came into this world.

6 weeks early, and at a whopping 5lbs...but, completly healthy.

( I think he was just as excited to meet us as we were to meet him)

Now none of us can imagine life without him.

He has been a much needed addition to our family.

Thanks G'ma for the cute puppy!

Steamboat Springs 08'

We had a GREAT time in Colorado this past week.

We biked, tubed down the river, ate way to many Oreos, watched lots of baseball, went to the spooky ranch, found some treasures at the ranch, slid down the Alpine Slide, had altitude sickness (only us sea level wimps)

and of course had lots of fun with all the cousins.

Ok, I thought I was loading the pictures of our great vacation to San Diego and Emma's house, but Dave changed the card in the camera and so I only have the 4th pix - I will get the other card and add the San Diego ones in the wrong order. We hope everyone had a great 4th - we sure did! We started with fireworks at the Centerville Park, Cache Valley Car Show and the STYX Concert and ended with a BANG at home doing our own fireworks in the driveway - Ask Justin about his "bomb." Anyway we had a great time and we rocked to STYX until our ears were ringing. Hope you all enjoy the pictures. Also - Kurt, Dave is sitting in his new car...he he he.... we hope you like it!

It's HOT here in Ramona.

With temperatures in the 100's this week Ty got to swim for the very first time.

Thanks to Jack he was able to cruise around and had a great time.

Welcome our new kitty Jeter. (yes after Derek Jeter) After catching a big RAT in our garage, we finally talked Jer into letting us get a new cat. (even though Jeter is as big as the rat no joke.) We all miss Bagherra terribly and know that he can never be replaced. Hopefully this new kitten can ease some of that pain. Ty on the other hand thinks he's a toy and trys to eat him.

We just got back from our trips to California Sunday and we miss the Drews' already!! We had a great time but wish we could have spent more time with them. We were at Emma's just long enough to drink her Diet Coke, dirty up her house, and for Owen to puke all over her garage! Next time we are going straight to San Diego! Owen has already colored himself an invitation that apparently says "Owen, Come to Aunt Emma's. Don't tell anyone. It's a secret." (Only Owen know what that really means!) This morning before Sam's nap, he was crying and saying all of the names he knew. This is a normal occurrence at our house except today he was crying for Emma. No joke. Needless to say, even though we only saw them for a few hours, we loved every minute! Well maybe not the puking part but definitely the rest! Here are some of the pictures we took of our time together:

For Christian's tournament in Arizona all the Bulldogs decided to buzz and put there numbers in the back of there heads. Jack decided he wanted it done also. But, in Jack fashion he did not want his b-ball number (which is 8 ) he wanted 13 for A-ROD! So this is the outcome. Thank goodness there is no church this week. I don't think it would go over well with Christian passing the Sacrament with the number 20 in the back of his head!! Enjoy...

Seems that we are the only ones without pictures these days! I will try to get some up soon. We are all busy - JT with Bountiful High Lacrosse, Meg is running for SBO at Millcreek, Sierra playing soccer and the school play, Trevin with soccer, and Sarah is our social butterfly with her HUGE group of neighborhood friends. Dave is busy with his video business and I am working and driving kids. We will keep ya'll posted on the SBO outcome for Meg - cross your fingers!!!

Brad - I have tons of music ideas!!! Justin loves music too - so we should be able to get ya some good tunes.

We thought you all would like to see the picture of Trevin that made the Clipper - after this picture was taken, the giant cabbage weighed in at 20 lbs. If Trev wins for the state, he will receive a $1000 scholarship for his efforts!

— When reporting to classmates what he did over the summer, nine-year-old Trevin Chowen could say that he spent his time growing cabbage. But this wasn’t just any ordinary cabbage. Trevin’s cabbage weighs nearly 12 pounds and is still growing.Trevin began growing the cabbage last Spring after being given a seed and a challenge from Bonnie Plants. The challenge was to see who could grow the largest cabbage – a competition that any third-grade student from across the United States could participate in. Trevin worked with his grandfather, Ralph Wilcox, to grow his now enormous cabbage.“At the end of the school year, my teacher gave a seed to everyone to grow,” said Trevin. “We started planting it in a pot and then moved it to my grandpa’s garden.”In that garden, among tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and cantaloupe, Trevin’s cabbage grew and grew.“We watered it and made a ditch around it,” Trevin said. “It’s really big.”Each year, Bonnie Plants awards a $1000 scholarship to one third-grader in each state who grows the biggest cabbage. Great idea Stewart!! Although I would love to start a discussion about Bryan's hairy back I think I might have a little problem. My son Christian is showing early signs of the Hairy Auernig CURSE.. More so like Bryan's... His hair is turning really white and long on his arms his leg hairs are getting a little more mature (curly) and also very hairy. Poor kid. Wish I could blame it all on Bryan but, unfortunatly I have to take credit for some of the hair problems. Who do we get that from anyway? Mom or Dad? Mom says not her but I don't know. Anyway hopefully we will not see any back hair for a few more years. By the way can Sam look any more like you??? He is a clone. I can't wait to squeeze him. Well, frankly this whole moving around the country thing has made me realize that we need a better way to communicate. Therefore I made this blog and I hope we can use it to see what everybody in the family is up to, share pictures and discuss other more important things like Bryan's Hairy back.
